I am thrilled to be the AIG Specialist at Parkwood this year.  I am originally from New York.  I retired from the United States Navy Reserves in 1997 and from teaching in July 2020. My love for teaching brought me out of retirement. I taught 5th grade for about 17 years and 3rd grade for about 12 years.  I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a Certification in Gifted Education.  I have been married for 42 years, have 3 daughters, and 4 grandchildren.  Church, family, and teaching are the most important things in my life.  I look forward to working with you and your child this year.
