Ms. Jennifer Sylvester

Thanks for visiting my page! A little about me...I started working at Summersill in 2019 as a substitute teacher, and quickly fell in love with special education. I was hired as a teaching assistant and worked in the adaptive and general separate classrooms before becoming a lead resource teacher. I am from Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Boston in 2007. I have a bachelor's degree in history and am currently finishing up the Residency Program through ECU for special education. I wanted to be a lawyer growing up, but life had other plans! I have two children - a daughter (13) and a son (10). We have a dog named Duncan and he is 5 years old. In my free time, I enjoy watching my kids play soccer, being outside, the beach, working out, traveling home when I can, and relaxing at home. Summersill is a wonderful place to work and I love the staff and students I get to see each day!
