Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Regina Hill

  • Hello.  My name is Regina Hill and I love being part of this community.  In fact, I graduated from Dixon High School in 1988.  I earned my BA in Elementary Education from UNCW in December of 1991 and my Master's Degree in Education in 1994.  In 1996, I received an advanced degree in Educational Administration and have earned National Board Certification.  In 2003, I was honored to represent our district as Onslow County Teacher of the Year.

I began my teaching career in 1992 at Blue Creek Elementary as a third grade teacher before moving to Jacksonville Commons Elementary and then Dixon Elementary as Assistant Principal.  After five years as an administrator, I missed the classroom and jumped back into teaching third graders at Dixon.  This is my 30th year as an educator.  I have taught second and third grades at Dixon Elementary for the past 20 years.

I have been married to Daniel for 28 years and we have two children.  Daniel works with Duke Energy, Jacob is a software engineer in Wilmington and Lindsay is a rising junior at Dixon High School.  We live in Surf City along with two dogs, a cat and two sugar gliders.
