Welcome to our classroom at Parkwood Elementary.  A little about me.  My family, including my twin girls and husband, moved to North Carolina in February of 2018,  from San Diego, California.  While living in California, I completed my Bachelors in Education through San Diego State University and then Ashford University.  Since living in North Carolina, I have had the ability to substitute teach with Onslow County in classrooms ranging from a fully adaptive environment to general grade levels, including specials like Art and Physical Education.  After subbing for a few years, my goals of becoming a teacher had not stopped, so I became an Exceptional Childrens Teacher Assistant.   My experience has always been to teach from the heart and use what I have learned with visual arts, movement, and technology to help facilitate a positive learning environment for any child. In January 2022 I accepted an opportunity as an Interim teacher and in June of 2022 I accepted a Resource teaching position.  I  am excited about getting to know your child and seeing what they want to explore.
