Personal:
I am originally from the foothills of North Carolina. I met my husband in the last week of graduate school, and we are living the beach life (though I’m a “mountain girl” at heart). We live with two well-loved cats among many aquariums and terrariums. If I’m not teaching, I’m hiking, fishing, camping, reading, writing, journaling, gardening, or otherwise about my arts and crafts!
