This is my 30th year of teaching.   I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and taught there for 12 years and then moved to Jacksonville, NC.   I have been here since 2005.   I moved from a large city to a small farm just outside of Jacksonville.   I have gardens, raise chickens, and love living in the country- minus the snakes!   My husband and I have been married for 27 years and we have one daughter who lives in Wilmington, one very loved labrador named Macy, and a scrappy cat named Olly who likes to bring me lizards for fun.  I am a HUGE Disneyland fan and love all Disney, especially Star Wars!

Over the last 29 years I have taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and college classes.   Most of my years have been spent with 5th graders teaching Science.   I am excited to be the new AIG teacher at Meadow View this year.   I look forward to working with all grades and all types of learners.
