Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Joy Esemann

Welcome to our first year at Clear View Elementary!

My name is Mrs. Joy Esemann and this marks year 14 in education for me. I graduated from The University of South Carolina with a degree in Early Childhood Education and receiving my Masters in School Administration from East Carolina University. I have taught middle school, Exceptional Children Pre-K, 1st and 2nd grade. I have also been a mentor teacher for classroom management and positive behavior instruction.

I am married to my wonderful husband Michael and have been since 2007. We have two precious red-heads, Ella, who is in 7th grade, and Evan who is in 1st. Michael is a Corpsman in the U.S. Navy and during his time in, we have been stationed in Beaufort, S.C, Charleston, S.C., and here at Camp Lejeune. When I am not at school or at one of Ella's gymnastics competitions, my family enjoys taking hikes, roadtrips and being out on our boat.

With every year that I work as an educator, my passion for this field grows. Every day I consider myself lucky to spend time with these young minds; not only to help them grow and learn, but facilitate that. I strive to set expectations for my students that I know are obtainable and differentiated according to each of their needs. My passion is to see each student not only succeed, but succeed far more than they ever imagined.

I am thrilled to be part of this CUBS family and pave the way for all students who will come through our doors!
