Mrs. Darlene Revoir

Hello! Welcome to First Grade! I am Mrs. Revoir.  I will be starting my 19th year of teaching!  I am excited for us to go through this journey together.  You, the parent are your child's first teacher, so I will be looking to be in communication with you through out the school year.

I am originally from Bristol, Tennessee, then moved across the mountains to Asheville, North Carolina to finish my teaching degree at Mars Hill University! I am married and together we have 9 children and 11 grandchildren! We love to camp and travel a lot during our summer adventures. We also love hockey (Go FLYERS!) and often have disagreements about football (He is Eagles, I am Cowboys).  

I am currently finishing my Master's in Reading Literacy through UNC Pembroke, and can not wait to bring what I learn to my classroom and students.  Teaching students to read is one of the greatest gifts I can give, and that is why I strive to make that a priority.
