I am originally from Hinesville, GA, and first moved to the Onslow County area in 2004. I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education from UNCW and an M.Ed. in Middle Grades Math and Science from the University of North Georgia. As part of a Marine Corps family, I've had the amazing opportunity to live and teach in Georgia, North Carolina, Hawaii, Virginia, and overseas in Bahrain. This summer we relocated back to Eastern North Carolina for a third time and are looking forward to making the Swansboro area our home. I am excited about starting the Teaching as a Profession program at Swansboro High School and the potential to help influence future Pirate Educators!

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. We have four children- Lexi is a sophomore at University of Tampa, Anna and Abby are in 12th and 11th grade at SBHS, and Andrew is in 8th grade at SBMS. We also have two Doodle pups, Piper and Hazel. I love traveling and watching sports- particularly football!
