Hello and welcome 5th grade families! 

My name is Mr Lopez-Lamb but I go by Mr L! This is my first year teaching at Meadow View Elementary and I am so excited to be here. I was a substitute for Onslow County last year and decided to journey into the wonderful world of teaching! Before moving to Jacksonville, I lived in California, where I grew up. After obtaining my Bachelors degree, I enlisted in the Marine Corps and spent two years in Virginia. I was able to travel to various places around the world while in Virginia before getting orders to Camp Lejeune. I finished out the remainder of my contract and was honorably discharged from service in November 2021. Holding numerous instructional roles while in the Marines drew me into the world of teaching, which is why I chose to stay! I am dedicated to facilitating a growing learning environment where all of my students feel welcomed.

Some things that I absolutely enjoy doing are going to the beach, working out in the gym, and playing with my dogs! I have three dogs. Their names are Moana, Groot, and Duke. My wife also works at Meadow View Elementary, and she teaches fourth grade! 

This year is going to be a great year!
