Mrs. Linares

Welcome 5th grade families!

My name is Vivid Love-Linares. The 2022-2023 school year will be my first year here at Clyde Erwin Magnet School and my first year in North Carolina.

I am originally from San Diego, California. I graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition. I left the public health field later in life when I discovered my calling for education. Most recently, I taught 5th grade at an Arts Integration campus in Austin, Texas. 

The military brought my family and I to Jacksonville in July and we have loved exploring its beauty. I have three children of my own in 7th, 5th and 3rd grade. When I'm not spending time with my family I love to exercise and play sports with friends. 

I'm so excited to serve the students of Clyde Erwin as the 5th grade Math and Science teacher. We're going to have a great year.
