Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Camryn Nigh-Camposano

I was raised in a small village in northwest Ohio. After graduation, I went to Bowling Green State University and received my bachelor's in Integrated English Language Arts specializing in Adolescent to Young Adult Education.

I moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina in 2021. I worked at an animal boarding and daycare facility where I fell in love with the community here in Jacksonville. I student-taught at HJ Macdonald Middle School in New Bern and had so much fun! However, high school was always my dream, so I began my career at White Oak in the spring of 2022 as a long-term sub and was more than happy to accept my current position teaching English II.

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my husband, our three dogs, and two cats. I also enjoy reading (mostly Stephen King) on the beach. My perfect day includes grabbing a latte and exploring the antique stores and farmers' markets in the area.

Go Vikings!
