Mrs. Sabdo

Welcome to SBMS. Here is a little information about me. I am 48 years old and have been in education my entire life. I come from a long line of educators. I have two Bachelor of Science degrees; one in Elementary Education with a certificate in Reading and one in Anthropology and Archaeology . I was at WJGurganus in Craven County for 18 years and came to Onslow county two years ago with OVS. This is my second year here at SBMS, Go Pirates!!  I worked for six years as an assistant in First Grade. I taught 4th grade for three years, one year in kinderland and eight years in 5th grade. This is my second year in middle school ELA. My husband is also a teacher at Havelock High School and he teaches 9th grade math and coaches football.  I have three children, ages 26, 23, and 22. My oldest son is a teacher in South Cobb, Georgia. My middle son is an accountant and a proud dad, and my youngest son is a senior in the teaching program at ECU! I am the grandma to an amazing little girl who reminds me of my "WHY" on a daily basis.
