Eric Allgrim

Hi.  It has been an exciting first year teaching Exceptional Children at JCE in 2017- 2018 for me.  I currently teach students with special needs in the general curriculum/separate setting.  I take pride in providing a small group, family-style approach to teaching students with academic and behavior challenges.  I believe in the importance of being a strong, positive role model for my students who teaches the class what it means to respect others and respect one's self.  My students have been very successful this year in reducing negative behaviors, and increasing academic performance and expectations.

I have been working with children for over 15 years, including six years in Onslow County.  Instead of a long, boring bio, I am providing the following Cliff Notes' version of my journey that has brought me to JCE.
