Welcome to Ms. Moistner's AIG Classroom! 

   Hello Parents and Guardians,  I am very excited to be the AIG Specialist here at Heritage Elementary School. This is my 12th year with the Onslow County Schools system and second year as an AIG specialist. I am excited and looking forward to serving our gifted and talented students at HES this school year. 

My Educational Background....

   I graduated in 2012 from The University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. My degree was accompanied by a concentration in Mathematics and Technology. I then continued my education and completed my Master's Degree in Elementary Education in 2017. I completed my certification in the Academically and Intellectually Gifted program in the spring of 2021. 

Personal Life...

        I have lived in Onslow County for the majority of my life. I graduated from Jacksonville High School in 2008 and continued my education through UNCW - go Seahawks! Outside of school, I enjoy collecting Baby Yoda "Grogu" memorabilia, reading, shopping, traveling and drinking iced coffee.
