Mr. Nicholls

Hello!

I am Mr. Nicholls.  I was California born but am Carolina raised. 

I graduated from West Carteret High School and received his degree in History, Secondary Education from Appalachian State University.  I taught at Seventy-First High School for 5 years before going back to AppState to get my Masters in History.  I then taught for six years at East Carteret High School (Switching sides in the Mullet Bucket rivalry).  I am excited to be at Swansboro High School and is looking forward to new school year. 

I live with my girlfriend Nancy and, together, we have two furbabies and one scale baby.  Our two cats are named Frickles (Fried Pickles Nicholls), Rutabaga (Ruther Bader Ginsburg Nicholls), and our  bearded dragon's name is Joe Cheddah Montanino.  In my free time, I train and compete in Powerlifting and Strongman while also experimenting with outdoor cooking recipes, techniques, and technology.
