Glenda Brown

I am a native of Pender County. I grew up in Maple Hill and attended Duplin County Schools. I currently reside in Chinquapin with my two daughters. My oldest will be attending UMO in the fall and my youngest is a sophmore at Duplin Early College High School. We are also members of Maple Hill Baptist Church, where we are activitely engaged in many activities. We enjoy going to the beach, traveling and spending time with our family and friends.

I am very excited about this year. I am passionate about teaching and I love working with elementary age children. It is my prayer that my students are motivated to be the best learners that they can be!!!

I have been teaching 13 years and have taught in both Onslow and Duplin counties. I taught Kindergarten for 3 years at Hunters Creek Elementary before becoming a stay at home mom. I resumed my teaching career at Chinquapin Elementary when my children began school. This is my eighth year teaching first grade. I taught 2 years at Rose Hill Magnolia before transferring back to Onslow County. Meadow View has been my home for the past 7 years.
