Ms. Catharine Knapp

This is Ms. Knapp's 2nd year teaching mathematics at Southwest High School, but her 16th year in the classroom. Originally from Akron, Ohio, Ms. Knapp relocated to North Carolina in 2008 after earning a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Middle Level Education from The University of Akron. She earned a Master's of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction of Mathematics from Concordia University in 2013.

She is teaching Foundations of Math 1, Math 2, and Math 3 in the first semester and Math 1, Math 3, and Math 4 in the second semester. Click here for the most recent North Carolina math standards.
