Ms. Lacey Wetzel

Hello! I am Lacey Wetzel and I teach 7th grade science. 

I was born and raised in Eastern Pennsylvania. I recently moved to North Carolina in January 2023.

I graduated from East Stroudsburg University of Pennyslvania with a Bachelor's in Marine Biology. I also graduated from the University of Aberdeen, in Aberdden, Scotland, UK with a Master's in Environmental Pollution. 

Some of my hobbies are photography, genealogy, baking, painting, drawing, hiking, kayaking, and going to the beach. 

I hope to get my students engaged with hands on activities and experiments. After all, it isn't science if it doesn't get a little messy!
