Ms. Heather Gulyas

Hello and Welcome, Fifth Grade Families!  My name is Heather Gulyas and I am so excited to be working with your amazing student this year! This is my twelfth-year teaching at Meadow View Elementary. It is my goal to create an environment where your child feels safe, secure, and part of our community. Through the use of The Energy Bus principles, it is our goal to create a positive learning environment. 

I grew up in Jacksonville, NC and I attended Southwest High School. LET'S GO STALLIONS!  I attended college at UNCW where I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. 

I have 2 beautiful daughters. My girls and their father are my everything!  My mother, brother, and sister-in-law all live close by. This makes for a close family unit!  I have a 4-year-old Golden Retriever named Nugget. He is fun, loving, and full of energy!  My girls and Nugget keep me busy!
