Ms. Northern

I am a graduate of UNC-Wilmington, with a B.A in Chemistry and a minor in Forensic Science. 

I am originally from Nelson County, VA but spent my formal years in Prince George's County, MD. After graduating high school, I joined the U.S. Army where I spent 4 years as a medic. I moved to North Carolina three years ago with my husband, who is a Marine and my son, Jefferson. In my free-time, I like to binge watch shows, crochet, color, play kickball and spend time with my family.

I am passionate about being a positive force in the lives of students and showing them how exciting science can be!
