Ms. Moistner's Open House Presentation

Welcome to Ms. Moistner's Fourth Grade Class

Hello Parents! I can't wait to welcome your student into my classroom this year. Our Fourth Grade journey will begin like no other year has. My goal is to work with your child where they are and help them grow throughout this academic school year. If at any time you need to get ahold of me, feel free to reach out through email or our class remind app. I will be posting a Virtual Open House presentation here on August 13th - this will contain many important details imperative to your students' return to school.

        See you soon!

                       Ms. Moistner

A little bit about me....

I graduated in 2012 from The University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. My degree was accompanied by a concentration in Mathematics and Technology. I then continued my education and completed my Master's Degree in Elementary Education in 2017. I am currently working towards certification in AIG (Academically and Intellectually Gifted). The 2020-2021 school year will be my ninth year teaching here at MVES. I have taught Kindergarten, third, and now I will be teaching fourth grade again!

Bio...

I was born into a military family and have had the pleasure of growing up here in Onslow County. Following High School, I moved to Wilmington, NC to pursue my Education degree. I have come back to teach in the county I grew up calling home and am loving every minute of it. I spend my time either reading, drinking coffee, or shopping at my favorite stores. Between lesson planning and drinking iced coffee...life in Fourth Grade couldn't get any better!
