Hello Meadow View Family! My name is Katelyn Williams and I am your Physical Education teacher. I am a Jacksonville native and attended Northwoods Elementary, Northwoods Park Middle School and Jacksonville High School.  After graduating from ECU (Go Pirates!), I returned home and started my teaching career at Trexler Middle School.  At TMS I worked as a Health and PE Teacher, the athletic director, and coached volleyball and track. I also taught PE at Northwoods Elementary and Richlands Elementary before joining the team here at Meadow View. In May 2023 I graduated from ECU (again!) with my Masters in Physical Education with a certificate of Physical Education Clinical Supervision.

I am passionate about Physical Education! I have great memories of PE and playing sports from my childhood. I love that I get to teach students about being healthy while playing games. In my classroom, we Learn to Move and Move to Learn. I enjoy incorporating other subjects the students study into my classroom activities as well. 

Everyday is a great day in the gym at Meadow View Elementary!
