Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Tiffany Rysewyk. I am excited to be a 4th grade teacher here at Richlands Elementary School. My love of diverse cultures led me to obtain a Master's Degree in Multi-Cultural Education. I have enjoyed teaching in San Diego, CA and here in the Jacksonville/Richlands, NC area.
Being a Navy family, we have traveled and lived all over the United States. I feel this experience has helped me become resourceful, open minded and well-rounded. My husband and I fell in love with this area and we have retired from the military here permanently.
My family is the most important part of my life. My husband, Brent, is a retired Chief Independent Duty Corpsman in the US Navy, and is currently a physician assistant at Lenoir Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department. I have 3 young-adult daughters, Hope,Taylor and Rebecca, 2 wonderful son-in-laws, Nick and Gary and 4 of the cutest grandchildren, Wyatt, Faith, Riley and Waylon. Not too long ago, my parents become my neighbors here in Richlands. Our family also consists of a managerie of animals: a walker hound and 4 cats. (My girls rescued the cats and left them here for Mom and Dad to take care of.) We love to travel, go to the beach and amusement parks, read, attend Broadway Musicals, watch movies together, and shop flea markets/antique shops. In the fall we are fanatics for our favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers!
