I have worked at RPS as an Exceptional Children’s resource teacher for the past four years, the 2017-2018 school year will be my fifth year at RPS. I am currently serving as Lead EC Teacher and have done so for the past three years. Since working as an educator I have been recognized as Student Support Educator of the Year (2016-2017), I have been recognized as Teacher of the Year (2017-2018), and I have been the Lead EC Teacher at RPS for the past 3 years. I am very excited to be working in the community that gave so much to me when I was younger.
My mission is to help people with disabilities and mental health struggles be successful in society, make growth academically and provide my students with skills to impact their daily life. I enjoy finding resources to get my parents, students and acquaintances plugged into so they can get the help and support they need to be successful.
