I attended college at UNC Wilmington. I received my Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I was National Board Certified in Literacy in 2007. My National Board Certification was approved for renewal in November 2016.

This school year I will complete my 20th year of teaching. I have spent 9 years teaching at Hunters Creek Elementary and 11 years at Sand Ridge Elementary. I have taught in kindergarten, first and second grade. This year I am teaching first grade. I was SRE Teacher of the year during the 2012-2013 and 2016-2017 school year.

My name is Gina Boyer. I have taught in the Onslow County School System for 19 years. This is my 11th year at Sand Ridge Elementary. I hold a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and National Board Certification in Language and Literacy. I enjoy teaching reading and writing. I love watching them develop into confident readers and writers!
