Mrs. Shannon Kanavel

Welcome to my web page. I am a native of North Carolina, but I lived in the Central Valley of California for 10 years. I have 3 younger brothers that still reside in California. I love North Carolina history and that is one of the reasons I love teaching fourth grade. This will be be my 14th year of teaching. When I am not teaching I enjoy traveling to the OBX and spending time with my family. My husband of 21 years is a Masonry Foreman and we have an 8 year old son. We also have a fiesty 3 year old German Sheperd named Roxy and a surly 16 year old cat named Lucky. I have a class Facebook page that families are welcomed to join, it is called Kanavel's Fourth Grade Class. I also have a private group for this year's class.
