I was born in Washington, DC, but was raised in North Carolina. I graduated from Lejeune High School. In 1994 I earned my BS in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I earned my Masters in Elementary Education from UNCW in 2007.  The 2022-2023 school year will be my 26th year teaching, all of which have been at Silverdale in 5th grade.
