Welcome to Onslow County Career & Technical Education
The Onslow County Schools community will prepare students to be globally competitive leaders and responsible citizens.
Career & Technical Education provides course offerings that meet student needs, interests, abilities, and aspirations. The availability of specific courses is determined by opportunities for employment, advanced education and practical life application.
Middle school students may participate in exploratory courses in business and information technologies, technology systems, and career decisions.
In the OCS traditional high schools, courses are offered in the following program areas:
- Agriculture Education
- Business, Finance, and Marketing Education
- Career Development Education
- Computer Science and IT Education
- Family Consumer Sciences Education
- Health Science Education
- Trade, Technical, Engineering, and Industrial Education
Each high school has a Career Development Coordinator (CDC) to support the school-to-career connection and facilitate business/industry partnerships.

The board acknowledges the dignity and worth of all students and employees and strives to create a safe, orderly, caring, and inviting school environment to facilitate student learning and achievement.
