Ms. Cynthia Johnson

I am a native of Onslow County and graduated from Southwest High School in 1988.  I attended Coastal Carolina Community College and earned my Associates Degree in Business Administration. For 10 years, I worked in an office environment and decided to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher.  I was fortunate to be accepted into the teaching program at UNC Wilmington and graduated in 2004.  I am very happy to be working with children in the community that I grew up in.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time outside in the warm sunshine.  I also like to read on rainy days. During the summer, I travel to my family's place in the NC mountains to relax and enjoy the beautiful waterfalls, animals, drives through the hills and to breathe the crisp mountain air. I also get to see my wonderful son (pictured with me above). 

I love and collect items that have the wolf, bear and owl on them, as well as snowmen and sunflowers.
