Kristin McAvoy

This is my eleventh year teaching in Onslow County Schools. I am originally from Syracuse, New York. I graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with an undergraduate degree in Childhood and Special Education, and then I continued on to earn a graduate degree in Literacy. I moved to North Carolina after graduation to escape those snowy Northern winters and to be closer to my favorite place - the beach! I was an EC Resource teacher for my first year of teaching, followed by five years of teaching First Grade and four years of teaching Fourth Grade. I am thrilled to be an EC Resource teacher this year in the Onslow Virtual School for grades 3 - 5.
