Mrs. Jeanne Klaus

My husband and I have two beautiful daughters.  We enjoying spending time with our grandaughter in Illinois.  My hobbies include cooking, boating, swimming, snow skiing, and traveling.

I am excited to have the privilege to work with such wonderful students each day!   I appreciate all of their consistent efforts to do their very best.  They truly make each and every day rewarding, and I am so happy to be a part of our Swansboro Elementary School Family!

We have the opportunity to use wonderful intervention based curriculums for both literacy and numeracy skills.  Our Letterland Program is a program that enables learners to develop and strengthen their literacy skills and build a strong foundation for a lifetime of reading.  They also enjoy using our Numberworlds program which provides a hands-on approach to developing  numeracy, computation and problem solving skills.  Instruction in both areas is individualized according to each student's needs.
