Mrs. Amber Kollar

I am so happy to be your child's teacher this year! Here is a little bit about me:

I am originally from Wilmington,NC. I attended East Carolina University and graduated in 2002. My first 2 years of teaching were at Grifton School, where I taught 4th grade. After getting married in 2005, I moved to Swansboro, NC and began teaching at Carolina Forest International Elementary School, where I taught for 10 years. This year will be my 20th year teaching and my 6th year teaching  Kindergarten at Swansboro Elementary School .  

This year will be an exciting year where your children will start their journey in education!  I believe that children thrive in an environment that is positive, nurturing and consistent. I love teaching children and being a part of their lives. I truly believe that working together will have a great impact on your child's progress . I love to see the smiles on the children's faces as they achieve their goals. I look forward to having a great school year!
