Mr. Hunter Staup

I grew up in the Jacksonville area, attending Jacksonville High School before heading off to ECU where I obtained my bachelors degree in physical education.  Sports have been my life, whether it is watching, coaching, or playing.  I am a huge Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics fan as I was born near Boston.  The 2023-2024 school year will be my 8th year as a teacher, all being at Jacksonville Commons. This will be my first year at Northside and I could not be more excited. I student taught at Wintergreen Elementary in Greenville.  I am the assistant athletic director and I will coach women's soccer and JV men's basketball, along with being an assistant coach for the men's Varsity basketball team. I am looking forward to a great school year and successful sports seasons. Go Monarchs!
