Mrs. Sutton is a native of Eastern North Carolina.  A graduate of West Craven High School, Sutton attended Craven Communtiy College and completed her associates degree in both Fine Arts-Music and Psychology.  She then transferred to Brevard College, a private liberal arts college, to complete her Bachelors in Music Education.  She has studied under the direction of Philip Evancho, Kathryn Gresham and David Gresham.  As a Choral Director and private vocal coach, Mrs. Sutton is a frequent soloist and conductor around the community.  She has been a summer choral camp councilor since the birth of the Brevard Choral Institute that works in close relation to the Brevard Music Center.
