I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama, but have lived in North Carolina for 20 years. I hold a Batchelors of Science in Secondary Education Language Arts, a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, and am currently working towards Journalism Educator certification at UNC Chapel Hill.
