I love what I do.
I started my career as a stay-at-home mom raising three boys with my husband of 30 years. I ended up in Richlands when my husband was stationed at Camp Lejeune over 18 years ago. He's now retired, and my boys are off being adults in the world. Being a parent, volunteering at their schools, and substitute teaching, I found my second calling in teaching. I love my first job and enjoy it when I get to spend time with my family, and they are always my priority, but I find that teaching really fills a natural place in my heart. I've been teaching for eight years now and have taught every level of English from English 1 through AP Literature & Composition.
