Richlands is where I call home, moved here in second grade and never left. I am the son of a retired Marine and a school teacher. In 1996 I graduated from Richlands High School and spent a few years wandering around in life. After encouragement from my mother I decided to substitute teach and after the first day I found my calling. I soon went back to school at East Carolina University and earned a degree in education. I love my job, love kids, and love the opportunity to make an impact on a life.
