Mrs. Shalen Ennis Daniels
I was born and raised in Carteret County, NC. I received the North Carolina Teaching Fellows Scholarship during my senior year of high school. While at ECU, I was involved in both the Theatre Arts Department and youth theatre arts. This is my tenth year teaching, and I have taught at Swansboro High School for the last eight. I am in charge of the Fall Play Production and the Spring Musical every year. I am married to Mr. Daniels at SBHS and have three lovely and beautiful furry-four-legged children named Ronald, Gizmo, and Pickle. Fun fact, I am certified by the Society of American Fight Directors as an Actor-Combatant in unarmed, broadsword, and rapier and dagger combat. Finally, I completely understand the obstacles associated with virtual learning because I just finished my final semester of graduate school in theatre at NYU this summer--which was completely virtual.
