I attended the University of North Carolina @ Wilmington on a Teaching Fellows Scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History in 1992. I earned National Board Certification in 2005.  I have been teaching at Swansboro High School since January 1994.

Extra-curricular activities - I work with Rho Kappa - Social Studies Honor Society, Model UN and Presidents Club.
