BA History with a concentration in Secondary Education

Mr. Faircloth

I grew up near Asheboro, NC (the zoo not the mountains). I Graduated from UNCG with degree in History.  After college, my wife and I moved to eastern NC to be closer to her family.  I taught in Lenoir County before moving to Onslow.  I taught in Lenoir County at South Lenoir HS for 4.5 years before moving to Onslow County Schools and White Oak HS in Jan 2015.  I have taught most of the social studies courses, including Civics, Geography, American History, AP US History, and International affairs.  Currently, I am the head coach of the JV football team and Men's Golf team.

  • Class Materials (handouts, notes, and assignments) will be distributed through the Microsoft Teams and Onenote applications.  Students are expected to bring their charged 1:1 device daily in class.  Students missing class time due to covid need to email Mr. Faircloth to receive alternate work in Apex Learning accessed through Clever.
