My family and I moved to Swansboro in 1998 when I accepted a school counseling position with Onslow County schools. In 2008, I had the privilege of joining the Swansboro Elementary School faculty. My three sons started their education at SBES and my youngest son was able to attend school with me until he moved on to Swansboro Middle School. If life couldn't get any better, all my sons are graduates of Swansboro High where my wife is fortunate to teach - thus, our whole family works, lives and attends school in Swansboro. We have found Swansboro to live up to its name and truly be the "Friendly city by the Sea".
