Dear Parents, Students and Families of Coastal Elementary School,

Welcome to the NEW Coastal Elementary School and the 2020-2021 school year! I am extremely excited and honored to be joining the Dixon Township as principal at Coastal Elementary.  Opening a new school is a tremendous privilege and my goal is to build a school culture and climate in which every student feels valued, supported, and challenged. Parental and family participation will be crucial as we work collaboratively for the benefit of our students/your children.

I am a native of Onslow County and a graduate of Jacksonville High School. I love Onslow County and am extremely proud to serve the community that helped shape me into the person I am today. The 2021-2022 school year will be my twenty-eighth year in education, my fourteenth year as an administrator, and my ninth year as a principal.

I believe that strong relationships build strong classrooms and schools. I am eager to get to know and work with you and your children. Our children are the most precious resource we have. Everyone at Coastal Elementary School is deeply invested in our students and community. Everything that we do is with the best interests of our children in mind.

I am always available if you have questions, concerns or just need to talk through a situation. Working as a team is the best way to solve problems and to move a school forward. I am confident that the 2021-2022 school year will be an incredible year for all of us as we embark on the amazing journey of opening a new school.
