Dear Parents, Students and Families of Meadow View Elementary School,

Welcome to Meadow View Elementary School and the 2022-2023 school year! I am extremely excited and honored to be joining the Meadow View community.  I look forward to leading the school with The Energy Bus Principles by Jon Gordon.

I grew up in the panhandle of Florida and moved to Onslow County in 2013 with my husband.  We have two young children and two Weimariners.  Summer is my season and you can find me outside with my family when I am not at school.

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from The University of West Florida and a Masters in School Administration from East Carolina University.  I taught 2nd and 4th grade for a portion of my first year of teaching.  My second year, I was placed in a third grade classroom and fell in love with the grade.  I taught 3rd grade in Florida for 6 years before relocating to Onslow County.  I taught one year at Stateside Elementary and 3 years at Dixon Elementary before becoming the assistant principal of Dixon.  

I am a firm believer that we need to work as a team to teach, mentor, and guide our students.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with questions, concerns, or celebrations!  The 2022-2023 school year will be a great one and I look forward to being on this exciting journey with you.
