I was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee transplanted to Jacksonville, North Carolina by way of the military where my husband served in the USMC. I am currently an Digital Teaching and Learning Facilitator. I taught mathematics for 5 1/2 years at Hunters Creek Middle School.  I also previously worked as a Social Worker with the Department of Social Services for eight years.  Education has became my passion and I look forward to a long career in inspiring young minds.
