It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you as the principal of Swansboro High School. I love being a Pirate! My educational background includes an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Hawaii, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Argosy University, a Master Certificate in School Counseling from East Carolina University, a Master of School Administration and a Doctorate of Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
My professional experiences in Onslow County include my service as the principal at Swansboro Middle School from 2016-2018, principal at Carolina Forest International Elementary from 2009-2016, assistant principal at Bell Fork Elementary from 2005-2006, and as a guidance counselor at Southwest Middle School from 2002-2005. I also served as the Director of the Army Community Services in Netherlands from 2006-2009.
My husband and I have 4 children ages 32, 27, 25 and 24. We love eastern North Carolina and consider ourselves blessed to be part of the Swansboro community.
