I have been teaching in Onslow County for twenty five years.  Twenty two of them have been as a classroom teacher or a Title I reading specialist. I went to Methodist College for two years and transfered to East Carolina University to complete  my education degree.  As an educator I wanted to continue learning and serving as many people as possible so I decided to get my master's degree in Library Science.  I was awarded a scholarship from East Carolina University to complete my MLA degree.   I love being a librarian/media specialist because I get to help so many people in different ways.
