    Ella Adams Amicae Scholarship --Zeta Amicae Auxiliary of North Carolina of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority

    One (1) $500 scholarship or two (2) $250 scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded to a female high school senior who has enrollment verification to an associate degree, vocational degree or technical training

    The deadline to submit your application for consideration is by 11:59 P.M. EST on October 1, 2023!

    Criteria is as follows:

    • Applicants must be a graduating senior or equivalent (female only)
    • Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.0 unweighted
    • Applicants should be pursuing an associate degree, vocational, or technical training.
    • Applicant must furnish proof of acceptance from an institution of higher education with its seal and evidence from the registrar’s office of enrollment and attendance before scholarship is dispersed.
    • A letter of recommendation

    Students are responsible for submitting completed applications no later than 11:59 P.M. EST on October 1, 2023. Applications should be submitted to: ncamicaescholarship@gmail.com with the name of the scholarship (Ella Adams Amicae Scholarship) in the subject line.

    Keren Darden Scholarship -- The Zeta Amicae Auxiliary of North Carolina of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority

    One (1) $500 scholarship or two (2) $250 scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded to a high school senior or graduate (female or male) who has enrollment verification to a culinary arts program.

    The deadline to submit your application for consideration is by 11:59 P.M. EST on October 1, 2023!

    Criteria is as follows:

    • Applicants must be a graduating senior or equivalent (male or female may apply)
    • Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.0 unweighted
    • Applicant should be pursing an associate degree, vocational, or technical training in Culinary Arts
    • Applicant must furnish proof of acceptance from an institution of higher education with its seal and evidence from the registrar’s office of enrollment and attendance before scholarship is dispersed
    • A letter of recommendation

    Park Scholarship

    One of the most prestigious undergraduate merit scholarship programs in the nation.  The program seeks students who are curious, critical thinkers who listen well, lead by example, take risks and champion original ideas.  The most competitive students demonstrate integrity and conscientiousness while dedicating themselves to making a positive impact in their communities.

    • Four-year scholarship valued at $120,000 for in-state students, including tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, travel, computer stipend and personal expenses
    • Grants to fund professional and personal enrichment experiences, such as research projects, service activities, and conferences in the United States and abroad
    • Guaranteed invitation to join the University Honors Program for all Park Scholarships Finalists

    To be eligible for the Park Scholarships program, candidates must:

    • Have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 and/or a minimum weighted GPA of 4.0.
    • Be a United States citizen, permanent resident of the U.S., or graduating from a high school located in the U.S. (regardless of citizenship status).
    • Apply for fall, first-year admission into a baccalaureate program at NC State.

    The John M. Belk Scholarship

    The Belk Scholarship provides comprehensive funding (tuition, fees, food and housing), plus $6,000 in special opportunity stipends.

    November 1: Nomination deadline (submit nomination form at admission.davidson.edu/belknomination).

    November 15: Application deadline for all Belk nominees (application for admission, recommendations, and all required supporting documents; no supplements required). Read more at www.davidson.edu/apply.

    Morehead-Cain Scholarship

    A four-year, fully funded educational experience for students of the highest caliber at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

    The application window to join the Morehead-Cain Class of 2028 is now open through October 1, 2023.

    The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship

    The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. 50 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship. The 2024 application is now open here for students who will graduate during the 2023-2024 academic year. The deadline to apply is Monday, October 2, 2023, by 5 pm.

    The Thomas Wolfe Scholarship

    Please note that our application process involves two separate steps and two different dates, and all applicants must take both steps and meet both deadlines, to wit: Thomas Wolfe Scholarship applicants must apply to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill by the University’s October 15th, 2023 EARLY admission deadline and must meet all academic requirements for EARLY admission; and 2) Scholarship applicants must also apply to The Thomas Wolfe Scholarship, with the deadline for submissions to the Scholarship being November 15th, 2023 (submissions must be electronically submitted by that date).  These are two distinct application processes and require different forms and separate online submissions.

    Sponsors for Academic Talent, Inc. Scholarship

    Amount: $750 or $1,500

    1. Maintain a 3.5 GPA on the weighted scale (must 3.5 or higher by end of 1st semester senior year) 

    1. Score 1100 (composite of critical reading and mathematics scores only) on the SAT Test or ACT Composite score of 23 or higher.  

    1. Attain a College Preparatory Diploma and meet requirements for NC Scholars Diploma. 

    1. Complete community service hour requirement for either the $750 or $1,500 scholarship.  Students cannot receive both awards. 

    To obtain a $750.00 Scholarship, you must: 

    1. Perform a minimum of 75 hours of community service 

    1. Complete 20 hours in the senior year (can start on 1st day of summer break prior to senior year) 

    1. Perform a maximum of 35 church and school hours 

    1. Perform a minimum of 40 hours at approved agencies 

    To obtain a $1,500.00 Scholarship, you must: 

    1. Complete 20 hours in the senior year (can start on 1st day of summer break prior to senior year) 

    1. Perform a minimum of 100 hours at approved agencies
