HONOR CORDS AND MEDALLIONS
The following are authorized for use during the White Oak High School Spring Commencement:
- Valedictorian and Salutatorian – Silver Stoles
- National Art Honor Society - Multicolored Cord given to Senior Members
- White Oak Musical - Gold Medallion with Green Ribbon for Four Year Participation; Silver Medallion with Green Ribbon for Three Year Participation, and Bronze Medallion with Green Ribbon for Two Year Participation
- Senior Class Officers – Gold Stoles
- National Honor Society - White & Blue Stoles for Senior Members
- Future Farmers Of America - Gold Sash given to Outstanding Senior Members
- Tri-M Music Honor Society - Pink Cord given to Senior Members
- White Oak Choir - Gold Medallion with Green and Gold Ribbon given to Senior Members of the Choir Program who have taken Choir every semester of their high school career.
- White Oak Band - Gold Medallion with Green and Gold Ribbon given to Senior Members of the Band Program who have taken eight Band Classes
- Sponsors for Academic Talent [SAT] Scholar – Gold Medallion with Blue and White Ribbon
- Advancement Via Individual Determination [AVID] – Royal Blue Cord given to Senior Members who have participated three or more years in high school
- White Oak Marshals – Black Cord
- Project Lead the Way [PLTW] – Royal Blue stole given to Seniors who completed entire PLTW series of courses
- Student 2 Student Program – Purple and Gold Cord given to Seniors who assisted the transition and acclimatizing of new students to our campus.
- ACT – Red and Blue Cord given to Seniors who met the ACT College Readiness Benchmark in all four areas of English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science.
- Students Against Violence Everywhere [SAVE] – Purple and Orange cord given to Senior members
- WorkKeys – Platinum, Gold, or Silver Cord represents level of proficiency achieved in conjunction with the Career Readiness Certification.
- Green Team – Green & Tan Cord with engraved leaf medallion given to seniors who have served on the team for at least two years.
- Key Club – Royal Blue Stole with Key Club Emblem for Senior Members
- National Math Honor Society – Blue and Gold Cord for Senior Members
- HAHSA Academy – Teal and White Cord for Board Members who have held the position for three years.
- Governors School Alumni – Royal Blue Cord
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes – White Cord given to Senior members
- White Oak Orchestra – Gold Medallion with Green and Gold Ribbon given to Senior Members of the Orchestra Program who have taken Orchestra every semester of their high school career.
- Auto Club – Red Cord given to officers
- White Oak Art – Gold Medallion with Gold Ribbon given to Seniors who have taken Art all four years of their high school career.
