Hello! My name is Savannah Parker and I am thrilled to be with Silverdale Elementary for the 2023-2024 school year! This will be my sixth year teaching Kindergarten here at Silverdale.  I am married to my wonderful husband Jacob, and we have two beautiful children together. Our son Chase recently turned 8 and will be at Silverdale in the 3rd grade.  Our daughter Kennedy will turn 6 in September and is a Kindergarten student here at Silverdale as well! I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington majoring in Elementary Education, with a concentration in behavioral studies. Go Seahawks!

Growing up, I was very active in sports, including volleyball and competitive gymnastics. I coached gymnastics locally for about 6 years before I decided to pursue my teaching degree. Some of my personal hobbies include reading mystery novels, spending time outdoors in the garden with my family, and baking. We have so much to learn this year and I feel honored to have a hand in your child's success!

I was Silverdale's Literacy Teacher of the year for the 20-21 school year, and was awarded Silverdale's Teacher of the year for the 23-24 school year.
